Don’t worry about the things you can’t change.
Things you can’t change: your past, your memories, your scars, what you look like, who you look like.
Things you can change: you future, your attitude, your outlook, who you are becoming, who you are living for.
We focus too much of our attention on what we cannot change – the things that either do not matter anymore or never mattered at all. Thankfully, we can leave those things by the wayside. They are covered – we don’t have to worry about them.
Our attention should then be focused on who we are becoming. We should have big dreams for the future. We should have a good attitude about life. The life that we are living should be lived for God. These are the things that we can change. This is what should be changed if it is not yet in right order and priority for us.
When we focus on changing what can be changed, we no longer have to worry about what we cannot change.
