1.  Things are really happening at EPIC Church.  God is positioning us for growth. Not just numerically, but spiritually. From the top down.  It’s exciting.

2.  This fall semester of school is challenging, yet simple and easy.  I am looking forward to the second half of the semester and getting things finished.

3.  The Detroit Tigers suffered a devastating loss on Tuesday.  Thank goodness both the NBA and NFL seasons are around the corner.

4.  I am continually tweaking the new epickc.com.  This is where you will find the latest updates on EPIC Church.

5.  This week I’ve been working on a few messages that I have coming up at EPIC Church. I am always glad to have the opportunity to communicate the truth of God’s word.

6.  I recently set in place about 9 goals through the end of the year for myself.  These goals are challenging – they are really kicking my butt.  But they are doing what I hoped that they would do – break me down so that I can build up.

7.  It was ten years ago this fall that I started working with the Power Company Kids Club in Pontiac, Michigan.  It’s crazy to think about.  It is awesome to see where the Lord has taken me on this journey.

8.  “I Will Rise” by Chris Tomlin is a great new anthem for the Church. It brings classic worship elements to the table while still being fresh and relevant. The first time I heard it I didn’t like it at all.  After listening to it several times and thinking about the power of God, I was hooked.

9.  Fall is by far my favorite time of the year. It causes me to ponder on the future, and reminisce on the past.  I also love sweater weather!

10.  Our ONE MORE Campaign is up and running at EPIC.  God is already doing great things.  Remember it’s not just about purchasing a chair or two.  It’s all about reaching ONE MORE soul for the cause of CHRIST! Let’s do it.
