Yesterday we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and all of his great accomplishments.  I recalled the pain that blacks went through in the south, things like the Jim Crow Laws and the death of Emmitt Till came to mind.

But today we celebrate freedom.  We celebrate freedom as a nation, freedom for our families and freedom for our people.  Today Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States.  So with all of this I implore you to do three things:

  1. Pray for our incoming President.
  2. Celebrate this momentous occasion for all people.
  3. Thank God for the great country that we live in.

Let us be proud today, Let us pray that God would bless America.
